General Explanation of signs:

1, 2, 3, 4 = L. H. (left hand) fingers

p, i, m, a = R. H. (right hand) fingers (thumb, index-, middle-, ring finger)

Circled numbers eg.: = string numbers

Roman Numerals eg.: II, VII, IX, etc. = position numbers (frets where the first L. H. finger would land)

B-Major: use an mimi R.H. combination

Bb-Minor (melodic):

F#-Major: use an ami R.H. combination
