Galileo / Falling lab

In this lab, you'll take some videos of falling objects and we'll analyze them. Goals:

• To verify whether heavy or lighter object fall faster
• To develop some skills in making careful and thoughtful measurements of physical phenomena
• To gather some data to explore the nature of gravitational energy and kinetic energy (energy of moving objects), the connection between the two.

You'll use your iPads to take some videos, and to write and bring together your results. You'll use "Logger Pro" (available on all GC-maintained computers) to analyze your videos.
