Now, I've made the following changes...

• Ripped out the image 'line.gif" and created a cropped version "line-short.gif" to be used as a background image for that table cell, so that, no matter what the height of that cell...
• Replaced a handfull of full-size IR-generated images with 1 X 1 "placeholder" pixel shims
• Axed the column between "back" and "next", and right-aligned the "next" graphic in it's cell.
• 'valign-ed' the home link to the top of its cell
• Turned off the bgcolor for the area containing the text.
