Science Olympiad

Goshen College will hosting a regional Science Olympiad. This is a science competition for high school students.

Here is the campus-wide Science Olympiad signup sheet. As an event supervisor you'll run an event on Saturday. A faculty supervisor will orient you to the rules of your event and make sure you have supplies and equipment.

GC conference on Religion and Science

10 pts
Goshen College hosts an annual conference on issues at the intersection between religion and science. The 2024 conference features Dr. Warren Brown. He's a neuroscientist and professor of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary.

The lectures on Friday evening and Saturday are free and open to the public. Attend one and write up your reflections.

Come to SC 106 March 13 at 4:00 pm to hear Dr. Kylie Smith present "I.CARE: A community-wide approach to coral restoration", as part of the Science Speakers series. Dr. Smith is co-founder and Vice President of I.CARE.

Community Orchard maintenance

EcoPax is organizing a work party do some maintenance on the Goshen Community Orchard.

    (Sign-ups close at noon on April 4th)

    We're planning to help the City's AmeriCorps staff plant and do maintenance at Goshen's Community Orchard! Lunch and snacks will be provided, and we'll coordinate transportation.
