Close to Metodista is the Iglesia San Pedro, here rather overshadowed by a new, private 'college' that's sprung up across the street. I don't remember any of these from 20 years ago, but could hardly turn a corner in San Jose this time without running across a private university, or store-front institute offering, most often, classes in computers or business.
